Data protection
What data we receive when you use this website, why, and what you can ask for.
Who is responsible

We apply the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). If you live in the European Union, the GDPR gives you similar rights.
Booking a table
To book, you give us your name, phone number, email address, the date, the time, the number of guests and, if you wish, the occasion and your comments. This data is used only to manage your booking. It is stored in our Wix booking system, which sends you the confirmation email.
If you mention an allergy or intolerance, we use it only to prepare your meal.
Group request
The group form sends us your name, your company, your email address, your phone number, your message and the choices you made in the configurator. We receive them by email and you receive a copy. They are used to prepare our proposal and organise your event.
Newsletter
If you tick the box provided, we store your email address, your name and your language to send you our menus for special occasions. Every email contains a link to unsubscribe in one click.
Protection against bots
The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that they are sent by a person. To do this, Cloudflare analyses technical data such as the IP address and the browser.
Technical logs
To display the website and protect it, our host Cloudflare processes the IP address and technical data of each visit.
Cookies and advertising measurement
Without your consent, we only use what the website needs to work. If you click “Accept” in the banner, we also load the Google Ads tag and the Meta pixel to find out how many visits and bookings come from our advertising. Google and Meta then set their own cookies.

Service providers and countries
We entrust some tasks to service providers, who process your data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): website hosting and protection against bots.
- Wix.com Ltd. (Israel): table booking system.
- Brevo, Sendinblue SAS (France): sending emails and the newsletter.
- Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC (Ireland, United States): advertising measurement, only with your consent.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland, United States): advertising measurement, only with your consent.
Israel and the countries of the European Union offer data protection recognised as adequate by Switzerland. For the United States, the providers concerned are certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or bound by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
Data from bookings and group requests is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then for no more than two years, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (accounting records: ten years). Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at brasseriedelepee@gmail.com. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
